DIVE DEEPER
We joyfully embrace the whole counsel of God and seek to apply his Word to every area of life. Below are some more details on what shapes our identity and our mission as we labor toward the restoration of a faithful New Christendom under the Lordship of Christ.
CHRISTIAN CATHOLICITY.
We confess with the creeds and Reformed confessions that there is one holy, catholic, and apostolic church, united to Christ her Head by the Spirit and the truth of the gospel. By “Christian Catholicity” we affirm that our congregation will be part of the one church of Christ, and so we will live in fellowship, accountability, and love toward all who call upon the name of the Lord Jesus in sincerity and truth.
CHRIST-CENTERED.
Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords, the cornerstone of all truth and life. Everything we believe and do flows from his person, work, and reign over the all things. He is Lord, Savior, and Treasure.
BIBLE-SATURATED.
The Holy Scriptures are the inspired, infallible, inerrant, and sufficient Word of God, equipping us for faith, life, and cultural obedience. We submit every thought, practice, and institution to the authority of God’s Word.
CONFESSIONALLY REFORMED.
We stand in the stream of historic Christianity, gladly confessing the faith once delivered to the saints primarily through the four great ecumenical creeds of Christendom. Additionally, we believe the Westminster Standards and the Three Forms of Unity serve as faithful summaries of the Bible’s teaching.
CHRISTIAN NATIONALIST.
We affirm that Christ is Lord not only over the church but also over the nations. Civil government, like all institutions, must bow the knee to King Jesus and order society according to his righteous law.
CULTURALLY ENGAGED.
The gospel is not retreatist; it is leaven that transforms every sphere of life. We reject pietistic withdrawal and embrace cultural obedience, laboring for a world where Christ’s truth, goodness, and beauty prevail.
FAMILY-INTEGRATED.
The family is God’s foundational government, prior to both church and state. We honor fathers as household heads, nurture mothers in their high calling, and disciple children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord as integral members of the covenant community.
COVENANT RENEWAL WORSHIP.
When constituted as a formal congregation in Christ's one true church, with ordained elders, we will gather each Lord’s Day to renew covenant with God through Word and sacrament, confession and praise, prayer and proclamation. Our worship will be patterned after God’s covenant dealings with his people, as he graciously calls, cleanses, consecrates, communes with, and commissions us.
BIBLICAL PATRIARCHY.
God has established a good and wise order in creation, with men called to exercise sacrificial headship in the home, church, and society. Biblical patriarchy safeguards families, communities, and nations by upholding God-given roles of men and women for His glory.
POSTMILLENNIALISM.
We believe that Christ reigns now as King, and that his gospel will advance by the power of the Spirit until the nations are discipled, the knowledge of the Lord fills the earth, and every enemy is placed under his feet. Postmillennial hope compels us to labor faithfully in every sphere of life, confident that Christ’s kingdom is growing and will triumph in history before his glorious return.
